- Custodial History:
- On fol. 230v it is stated that Muʿallim Luṭf-Allāh Abū Yūsuf bought the manuscript for the Church of our Lady and St George in 1449 Anno Martyrum (1732/3 CE). See Rieu, Supplement, 9. In the waqfiyya on fol. 1r, we read that the manuscript was dedicated by John the 105th Patriarch to the Church of the Virgin and St George in Ḥārat al-Rūm in Cairo, 1447 Anno Martyrum (1730/1 CE). On fol. 410v, there is a signature of Peter, the 109th patriarch who had the book in his cell, in 1532 Anno Martyrum (1816 CE); cf. Crum, Catalogue p. 324). The waqfiyya is repeated on several folios.
