- Correspondence donated to the British Library by dealer, Maggs Brothers Limited, concerning the purchase of the Codex Sinaiticus in 1933 from the Soviet Goverment.
The letters and copies of letters within this folder are generally between Maggs Brothers and their clients, Sir Frederick Kenyon, former director of the British Museum, and Nikolas Ilyin, Chairman of Antiquariat Service of the Soviet Union.
