Summary of Contents: Commentary by Muḥammad Imdād al-ʻAlī al-Amrūhvī on a short work on Divine Unity by Muḥammad Fakhr al-Islām Ṣādiqī Quddūsī , who is described as a descendant of Muḥammad Sādiq, himself descended from ʻAbd al-Quddūs Gangūhī (d.1537).Title: ʻAyn al-maqṣūd fī taḥqīq al-vujūdTitle: عین المقصود فی عین الوجودIncipit: الحمد لله الذی خلق السماوات والارض و جعل الظلمات و النور. ثم الذین کفروا بربهم یعدلون.Explicit: هر مقام را علوم و معارف جدا است و هر حال را قاعده علیحده. پس فی الحقیقه تدافع و تناقض در علوم نباشد و در رنگ نسخ احکام شرعیه است. فلا تکن من الممترین و صلی الله تعالی علی سیدنا محمد و آله و سلم.Colophon: انتها قد حصل الفراغ من تحریر هذا الشرح و ملحقاته فی غرة شهر الربیع الاول من سنة الستین بعد الالف و الماتین به انعام المنعم العلی العظیم و کان تاریخ اتمامه فضل الحی الکریم سنه ۱۲۶۰ ...Colophon: Completed on the first of Rabīʻ al-avval 1260 (21 March 1844). The date is given in a chronogram and in numbers, added between the lines in the text.The author gives his full name as Muḥammad Imdād ʻAlī Amrūhvī Qurayshī, and associates himself with the Naqshbandī Mujaddidī order (f. 3r). He often quotes his father Shāh Muḥammad Ḥayāt.
This work includes some letters (Maktūbāt) of Aḥmad Sirhindī, beginning on f. 87v.

Marginal additions and the first part of the work have been checked and approved (صح, and on f. 87r, صحیح البیاض).
Folio 104v contains a list of books that were borrowed by various notable persons, such as Mawlavī Karīm Allāh . The list includes a translation of the Quran and a 3 volume collection on grammar.
