The well-known encyclopaedia of Sufism by Muḥammad ibn Maḥmūd al- Ḥāfiẓ al-Bukhārī called Muḥammad Pārsā (d. 822/1420).

The first and last folios are considerably damaged. Worm-eaten and damp-stained. Rearranged, gauzed and rebound by the India Office.

Naskh; copied in black ink, with headings, overlinings and marks for separating some Arabic phrases in red.
Additions:Corrections, additions and comments in the margin, mostly in black, additional headings in red.
Corrections approved with the word صح.
An undated, partially legible, note on f. 1r describes the manuscript as of medium-sized official (vazīrī) paper, in naskh script, of 21 lines, written on white paper, and with a binding made of marbled paper with red paper doublures.
A fragment attached to the unnumbered folio following f. 431, contains a partially preserved note praising God and the Prophet Muḥammad.
