A treatise against polytheism and infidelity by Maulavi Kurram 'Ali, Bilhauri. Begins:
سجان اللہ کیا شان ھی تیری کہ بغیر مڈ دوسرے کی اتنے بڑے آسمان اور زمین کو کس خوب صورتی کے ساتھ پیدا کیا اور کسی نبی ولی کو اپنے کار خانے مین کچھ اختیار نہین دیا
This work was written in A.H. 1238 (A.D. 1822-23), and was first printed at Calcutta, 1848. Other editions have been published at Delhi, Madras, and Meerut. It concludes with a Masnawi, a copy of which, under the title Nasihat al-Muminin, is noticed below (no. 168).
Maulavi Khurram 'Ali is also the author of the following works, all of which have been published:
Adab al-haramain. A manual of religious duties incumbent on pilgrims to Mecca and Medina, written in A.H. 1249.
Tuhfat al-akhyar. A translation of the Mashariq al-anwar, an Arabic work on tradition by Hasan ibn Muhammad al-Saghani. It was completed in A.H. 1249, and has been published with the Arabic text.
Shifa' al-'alil. Directions for leading a holy life; being a translation of the Arabic Qual al-jamil of Shah Wali Allah of Delhi, made in A.H. 1260, and published with the text.
Ghayat ul-autar. A translation of the Durr al-mukhtar, an Arabic work on Islamic law by Muhammad ibn 'Ali, Haskafi. Khurram did not live to finish this work. He died after having translated the greater portion of it in A.H. 1271 (A.D. 1855), and at his death translation was completed by Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqi. Colophon:
