The Fulbright Foundation Trustee Limited is the Charity company for the US-UK Fulbright Commission. Sponsored awards and funds for awards were held by the Fulbright Foundation as a charitable trust.
Prior to 2007 there were two foundations registered as charities in the UK, it was decided to transfer the assets of the UK Foundation to that of the US Foundation since the US Foundation was registered in the US for tax-exemption as well as the UK, in order to save on administration.
