A letter requesting the recapture of some 500 sheep from Dim Kazası while on their way to an island in Samarra Kazası by members of the Shammar tribe. The claimant is requesting return of the sheep or compensation for them.
The original complaint is dated 10 Şubat 1317 (10 February 1901) and contains two stamps, one 1 Piastre (purple) and one 1 Kuruş (orange). The complain is sealed with a seal in Armenian in the name of Kirop Kuyumjuyan 1899.
Annotations on the receipt of the petition are found on f. 1v, dated 10 Şubat 1317.
