The collection holds Portuguese manuscript documents from the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Cordeiros, São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It consists of baptismal records of free and enslaved individuals (1856 - 1888) and burial records of free and freed people (1857 - 1874).
Custodial history: The volumes were produced by the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Cordeiros. In accordance with local norms and Canonical Law, all documentation of a permanent nature produced by the Parish is moved to the Archive of the Archdiocese of Niterói after 70 years.
