This collection contains Portuguese manuscript documents from the Church of Nossa Senhora do Loreto de Jacarepaguá, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It consists of slave baptismal records from 1718-1719.
Custodial history: The volumes were produced by the Church of Nossa Senhora do Loreto de Jacarepaguá. In accordance with local custom and Canonical Law, all documentation of a permanent nature produced by the Parish is transferred to the Archive of the Archdiocese of Niterói after 70 years.
