A subcoleção reúne documentos em formato processo, manuscrito, escrito em língua portuguesa, referente ao período imperial e alguns anos do Brasil republicano, pertencentes ao Cartório da Segunda Vara da Comarca de João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brasil. Os documentos estão distribuídos nas séries: Inventários (1881-1909); Juízo de Órfãos (1877-1900) que contempla arrendamento de bens de herdeiros e prestação de contas de tutor; Juízo Comercial e Juízo das Execuções (1884-1900) que abordam execução de dívida, ação de rescisão de contrato, entre outros; Juízo de Capela (1885) sobre bens de irmandades religiosas; Ação Criminal (1886).
The sub-collection has documents in the forms of process, manuscript, written in Portuguese language, referring to the imperial period and some years of the Brazilian republican period. They belong to the Notary of Second Civil Court from the District of João Pessoa, Paraiba, Brazil. The documents are distributed in the series: Inventory (1881-1909); Court of Orphans (1877-1900) that contemplates the leasing of assets from the heirs and rendering of accounts of the tutor; Commercial Court and Execution Court (1884-1900) that deal with the execution of debt, lawsuit of contract withdrawal, among others; Capela Court (1885) about the assets of religious brotherhoods, Criminal Action (1886). .
