The colophon can be found on f 69r, where the date of completion of the work is given as AM 24 of Ṭūba 1484 AM (31 January 1768 CE).

Material: Western paper
Dimensions: 90–100 mm x ca. 150 mm;
Foliation: British Museum foliation in pencil. Coptic Epact numbers are also used for foliation.
Lines per page: 14 lines/page;
Script: Naskh.
Ink: Black ink, with rubricated headings and overlinings in red.
Decoration: There is an ornament above the first rubric (cf. bāb). Otherwise, the volume is sporadically decorated with floral patterns/dots typically at the end of a work.
Condition: Good although some folios are missing.
Marginalia: A few notes sporadically appear in the margins.
Catchwords: Lower left margin of a verso.
Other: Sometimes four red dots are arranged as a diamond as a means to mark text division.
