- The Prince Edward Theatre re-opened in Spring 1936 as the London Casino, offering a spectacular stage show in a cabaret restaurant setting. It was closed 1939–1942; reopened as the Queensbury All-Services Club in 1942, became a theatre again in 1946 and then a cinema in 1956. It did not revert to the original name until 1978
