- Scope & Content:
- This series consists of manuscript and printed Dongjing materials kept by various Dongjing societies in Yunnan province, primarily mimeograph copies of handwritten and wood-block printed sutras, ceremonial texts, music scores and lyrics. The series also contains materials created and collected by various Dongjing scholars and enthusiasts, including fieldwork notes and commentaries on music scores. The scores themselves are generally written in jianpu notation, although a couple are written in guqin notation.
