R.M.23.k.13-20. ROYAL MUSIC COLLECTION. Steffani (Agostino). Duetti; 17th century, 18th century. A set of books of duets, the only ones remaining (nos. I, II, V, VI, IX, X, XII, XIII) of a set of 13. Nos. II and X (excepting ff. 40b-49b) are autograph (according to letters from Krell in the departmental file 1956/7, supported by Hilda Andrews). There are 6 duets in each book, and the last book consists of duet scherzi with instrumental ritornelli. In score, with bass accompaniment (occasionally figured) only.
