61369-61408. BLENHEIM PAPERS. Vols. CCLXIX-CCCVIII. A series of bound volumes, consisting chiefly of entry- and letter-books relating to army administration; 1702-[1739?], n.d. With the exception of 61408, all have uniform 19th cent. half-bindings in brown calf, gilt-stamped on the spine, 'Marlborough Papers', and numbered in a series 1-39. This order has been retained. As noted in the following descriptions, many volumes in this series have their own indexes. Individual recipients of letters, orders, passports, etc., entered in these volumes do not appear in the index to the present Catalogue, although some general subject entries have been made.
