Some include notes or outlines for his own publications, but not all have been identified and listed, or cross-referenced to the relevant sections above. Arranged in rough chronological order; many bear Alvarez's signature and the date they were first used on the verso of the front cover. Loose and inserted leaves have been left in situ, but similar notes previously torn from books or written on separate leaves are gathered together in Add. 88588.
