Journal entries by and correspondence between Ricketts and Shannon and 'Michael Field', illustrating their long friendship; 1892-1914. Typewritten, with annotations. Arranged chronologically. This material is drawn almost entirely from the Ricketts and Shannon Papers (Add. 58085-58118) and 'Works and Days' of 'Michael Field' (Add. 46776-46804). The compilation was intended to form a companion volume to Works and Days, ed. T. and D. C. Sturge Moore (1933), but was never published.
