'The Story of Tim': a story translated from the Russian by George Borrow; [1854-1862]. Autograph draft, written on both sides of eight octavo leaves of grey wove paper (ff. 1-8), on both sides of nine octavo leaves of blue laid paper (ff. 9-17), and on one side only of another octavo leaf of blue laid paper (f. 18). Watermark (blue paper only) 'Sawston/1854'. The story is entitled as above. A130 is an autograph draft of part of the introduction, written on one side only of a part quarto leaf of blue laid paper (f. 97a). Watermark part of the figure of Britannia. On the same side of the paper, inverted, is an autograph draft in pencil of two and a half lines of prose relating to an 'obstreperous and disagreeable' woman (f. 97a), and on the verso an autograph fair copy in pencil of an 'Epilogue By Dr Garth' (f. 97b).
