Letters (7) from Elizabeth Barrett Browning to Richard Henry Horne; 16 Dec. 1843-12 May 1845. Four of the letters (16 Dec. 1843, Dec. 1843, 1843, 6 Feb. 1844) were written during their collaboration in the production of A New Spirit of the Age, 1844, edited by Horne, another (9 June 1844) discusses its reception, while others discuss her poem 'The Dead Pan' (9 June, 20 July 1844) and Edgar Allen Poe (12 May 1845). Also included are a letter (A242, ff. 164-169b) from Elizabeth to Mary Hunter, 31 Dec. 1859, printed by Wise in Elizabeth Browning, A Note on William Wordsworth, 1919, and a letter (A240, ff. 149, 149b) from Dante Gabriel Rossetti to Horne, 6 July 1875. The letters from Elizabeth to Horne are printed in Letters of Elizabeth Barrett Browning addressed to R. H. Horne, ed. S. R. Townshend Mayer, 1877.
