AYRTON PAPERS. Vols. XV, XVI. Annotated abstracts by William Ayrton from the journals of his wife Marianne for 1786-1836; 1842-1847. The abstracts were taken down by Ayrton in 1842 from transcripts which were made by his wife from her pocket-books during her last illness. Her own transcripts are Add. 52351. At the end of Add. 60373 (ff. 27-60) are further abstracts by Ayrton taken from memoranda of his daughter Fanny for 1836-1847.
