Title:: 'THE ARMS, Supporters, Badges, &c. of the Sovereigns, with the Arms of the Knights Companions, of the most noble Order of the Garter, delineated in their proper colours. Begun by S^r William Segar, Knt., Garter Principal King of Arms, in the reign of James I, and continued to the present time [the installation of 1771] by Joseph Edmondson, Mowbray Herald Extraordinary' The whole actual execution is of Edmondson's time , and vol. i has his dedicatory letter to the King, dated Warwick St., Golden Square, 29 Sept. 1780. Twenty-one volumes bound in nineteen, each number representing a king's reign. Vellum. 9⁵/₈ in. x 7³/₈ in. Circ. A.D. 1780. Bound in blue morocco.
