Vols I-III. 'Abstract of a Tour' (45265, f. 1) through France, Switzerland and Italy (for an index to the places visited, see 45267, ff. 48-48b); 15 Apr. 1818-20 Feb. 1819. For part of the tour Bracebridge was accompanied by his brother-in-law, Walter Henry Bracebridge, of Morville House, co. Warw., his sister, Mrs Mary Bracebridge (see 45265, ff. 15b, 16b, 19, 23, 29b; 45266, f. 17), Sir Charles Mordaunt, 8th Bart., M.P., and Lady Mordaunt (see 45265, ff. 77b, 87; 45266, ff. 4, 8b). The latter part of 45267 (ff. 51-87b) has been used as a commonplace book, consisting chiefly of miscellaneous extracts from the New Monthly Magazine and Literary Journal, vii, 1823, and Monthly Review, c, 1823.
