At the end of vol. i. are a few papers on the Roman wall of Hadrian, "the Southern frontier defences of the Brigantes," etc. ; and in Vol. v., which contains accounts and drawings of Derbyshire barrows, are two original letters from William Bateman; Middleton, 13 July, 10 Aug. 1824, ff. 23, 25.
