LETTERS to Sir Robert Southwell, Clerk to the Privy Council, etc. (with a few to Lord Arlington), chiefly from British agents in the Low Countries, and relating to the war with Holland and the abortive negociations for peace at Cologne; 1672-1674. Most of the letters are from [Sir Henry de Vic,] Baron de Vique, British Resident at Brussels; from Richard Bulstrode, Agent (and afterwards successively Resident and Envoy) at Brussels; from Joseph Chaumont, who appears to have been employed as an agent at the same place; and from Thomas Cox, Thomas Bedford, and Thomas Cliudleigh, who were attached to the mission of Sir Joseph Williamson and Sir Leoline Jenkins to Cologne. The names of all the writers are given in the Index. Four volumes. Paper. Folio.
