He was M.P. for Sussex, 1780, 1784, 1790, 1796-1801; Surveyor- General of the Ordnance, 1782; Chief Secretary to the Lord- Lieutenant of Ireland, 1783-1784, 1795-1798; Baron Pelham of Stanmer, 1801; Home Secretary, 1801-1803; Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, 1803; Earl of Chichester, 1805; Postmaster- General, 1807-1826. He was also Colonel of the Sussex Militia; and sat in the Irish Parliament for Carrick, 1783, and Armagh, 1795. Thirteen volumes. The names of the writers will be found in the Index. Paper. Folio.
