EVELYN PAPERS. Vol. CCCCLXXIV, CCCLXXV. Catalogue of the Evelyn library compiled by William Upcott, librarian of the London Institution and autograph collector; 1813-1817. In his memoir of the Evelyn family (Add. MS 78582 A above), William Bray, the Evelyn family solicitor, describes how he recommended Upcott to catalogue the library at Wotton after a fire which resulted in the disarrangement of the books.
