PARLIAMENTARY JOURNAL-LETTERS Of Sir Richard Temple, Bart., M.P. for Evesham 1885-1892, and for the Kingston Division of Surrey 1892-1895, written to his wife, giving a vivid description, from a Conservative standpoint, of the proceedings in Gladstone's two Home Rule Parliaments and the intermediate Salisbury Government, 1886-1895. Vol. I has a photograph of Arthur Wellesley Peel (Viscount Peel 1895) as Speaker prefixed and Temple's bookplate of arms. Most of the volumes have a note of presentation by Dame M[ary] T[emple], widow of the author, to various members of the Temple family. A selection of letters from the first three volumes was published as Letters and Character Sketches front the House of Commmons, 1912. Eleven volumes. Quarto.
