(3) Indenture whereby Henry VII certifies the receipt by his Commissioners at Calais of sums due from Louis XII of France under the Treaty of Étaples, and the delivery of the same, after deduction of various payments, to Sir Antony Browne for custody in the Castle at Calais, 1501. (5) Indentures testifying to the delivery to Sir Gilbert Talbot (a) by Sir Thomas Lovell, Treasurer of the Royal Household, of various sums for the payment of soldiers at Calais and Guines, and of workmen on the fortresses there and at Fort Risban (in Calais) and Hames-Boucres, 1512.
