Mss Eur F111-112 Series 108

Series 108, Printed Papers of the Five Committees on the Near and Middle East, is composed of papers relating to four War Cabinet committees and one Foreign Office committee, which cover British policy in the Near and Middle East. The committees, which were chaired by George Curzon, are as follows: the Persia Committee, the Mesopotamian Administration Committee, the Middle East Committee, the Eastern Committee, and the Foreign Office's Interdepartmental Conference on Middle Eastern Affairs.

Mss Eur F112/271 mainly consists of notes and minutes relating to meetings of the Persia Committee. Mss Eur F112/272 is largely composed of minutes of meetings of the Mesopotamian Administration Committee (later renamed the Middle East Committee). Mss Eur F112/273 is formed of minutes of meetings of the Middle East Committee, followed by correspondence relating to the Eastern Committee, which inherited the responsibilities of the former. Mss Eur F112/274 contains the minutes of the Eastern Committee, plus related memoranda. Lastly, Mss Eur F112/275 consists entirely of minutes of meetings of the Interdepartmental Conference on Middle Eastern Affairs.
