- Ogguvaru Hakku Patras. Ogguvaru is the one of the eight dependant castes of Golla Yadava (Shepherd) community. They narrate the epic of folk caste hero Mallanna. These balladeers are some times similar to Beerappalu. Ogguvaru name is derived from ‘Oggu’ – a musical instrument. This musical instrument used only by Ogguvaru. They narrate the epic for five days and perform rituals at the same time. Ogguvaru perform the ritualistic performance in God Mallanna temple, every one are two years and they also perform death and marriage celebrations. The old families of Ogguvaru have the copper plates of Hakku Patras. The Hakku Patras are available with the team guru of the community.
