- Description: Adabi dunya, a monthly Urdu journal begins in May 1929 from Lahore and it become one of the most polular and respeted Urdu magazine. It is an extremely important literary Urdu magazine edited by prominent writers; perhaps the cheapest available magazine of its time. Adabi dunya includes numerious topic about the history of Urdu language, poetry, religion, criticism, Urdu fiction, drama etc. Adabi dunya also includes topic which are uncommon in Urdu language of that times. It has attractive out-look, illustrations and broad circulation. Molana Sallahuddin Ahmed run his "Urdu Bolo Tehreek" through this magazine. It has also published special issues with distinct titles. This journal has been published in different sizes. 32×24.5 cm; 30×24.5 cm and 24.5×17.5 cm.
