- Description: Alamgir holds an important place in Urdu literary journals because of its interesting articles about, fiction, poetry, criticism, history, religion, out-look and illustrations. Along with its regular publication, special issue with distinct titles have also been published. Alamgir was also considered to be most circulated informative and pictorial literary journal of India in its times. It also has interesting advertisements about books and other literary journals and other aspects of life. It appeared in different dimensions: 31×23.5 cm; 25×21 cm and 23×17.5 cm.
