Books of stubs recording articles removed from the former Cline Town Locomotive Works. The stubs give the date, the person removing the material, what was removed, occasionally which part of the works the items were taken from, and sometimes where they were taken to. The books are only partially used.
These books date from the period when the Cline Town Works ceased to be a railway workshop, and became the National Workshops, a general engineering and manufacturing facility. Individual staff were clearly allowed to remove supplies, equipment or redundant materials. Custodial history: Found in the National Workshops and claimed by the SL NRM.
