The volumes included in this Appendix were found shelved after that part of the Mackenzie Collection known as the ‘Unbound Translations’ (now in fact bound). They have, however, no very clear connection with the ‘Unbound Translations’.
They do not appear in H H Wilson’s of the latter (Descriptive catalogue of the oriental manuscripts…collected by…Colin Mackenzie, 2nd edn 1882, pp 549-79), nor indeed, in any other published catalogue. They have now therefore been incorporated with the Mackenzie Miscellaneous Volumes, and a summary list of them is given.
