The series contains registers recording donations, sales, mortgages; financing (fiança); letters of manumission; wills; and more dating from 1799 to 1861. The registers were made by public notaries in Vila de Pombal, Vila de Sousa, and in the city of Paraíba.

Contains volumes with covers, including original cover in leather, fabric, and paper, but also volumes without cover, severely damaged. Folios damaged by insects and iron gall ink; rotting folios, fungae, water damage; tearing; weak and brittled folios.

Creator (Author): Notary publics from Vila de Pombal, Vila de Sousa, and Cidade da Paraíba.
