The series consists of registers of royal orders and provisions promulgated by the Portuguese Overseas Council (Conselho Ultramarino) and sent to the auditors (ouvidores) of Paraíba between 1688 and 1887. Includes a criminal suit from Brejo do Cruz, Comarca of Pombal; civil action of maintenance of power in the Juizado Municipal of the city of Sousa; registers of public hearings presided over by the third Juiz de Paz in Vila do Catolé do Rocha; writ of habeas corpus; petition (requerimento) of Maria Isabel da Conceição to the Municipal Judge (Juiz Municipal) of Termo de Sousa, seeking a written testimony that she donated the property (sítio) Alivio to her son, Joaquim Innocenio Pereira; and a solicitation (solicitação) of a seizure warrant (mandado de embargo) for Raymundo Ignacio Bizerra.
