The series contains rank letters (cartas patentes) of military officers of the Cavalry Regiment Company (Companhia do Regimento da Cavalaria); North Regiment's Infantry Troop Company (Companhia da Tropa da Infantaria do Regimento do Norte); Third Pardos' Company (Terceira Companhia dos Homens Pardos); Battalion n.2 of Second Line Riflemen (Batalhão nº 2 de Caçadores da Segunda Linha); Ordinances of Villa de Monte Mór's indigenous; Villa do Catolé do Rocha's Fourth Company Battalion (4ª Companhia do Batalhão de Guardas Nacional da Villa do Catolé do Rocha); Seventh Battalion of the National Guard (7º Batalhão da Guarda Nacional); National Guard's Reserve Company of the town of Areia (Companhia do Corpo de Reserva da Guarda Nacional da cidade de Areia); Second Company of the National Guard's Battalion of Catolé do Rocha (2ª Companhia do Batalhão da Guarda Nacional de Catolé do Rocha); among others. The series also contains documents referring to the beginning of the term for the posts of Sergeant-Major, Captain, Captain-Major, and Corporal (cabos), in cities around Paraíba as well in Recife (Pernambuco), from December 19, 1776 to March 21, 1865.
