Transcripts of all the parliamentary rolls kept in the Tower of London from the time of Edward III, from the 4th year of his reign to the parliament held in the 51st year of his reign, in two volumes, compiled by Simonds d'Ewes.
Volume 1 contains the rolls from the 4th to the 29th year of Edward III’s reign.
Volume 2 contains the remaining rolls from the 36th to the 51st year of Edward III’s reign.
A table of contents of both volumes is given at the beginning of volume 1: ‘Transcripta omnium Rotulorum Parliamenti in Arce Londonensi repositorum, de Tempore Regis E. III. Viz. ab a[nno] 4o Regis ejusdem usque ad Parliamentum tentum a[nno] 51o regni sui’ (Harley MS 14, f. 2*).
Not in D'Ewes's hand, but he has foliated the manuscript, and the running titles may be in his hand.

Formerly owned by Simonds d'Ewes: the boards bear his armorial stamp.
The Harley Collection, formed by Robert Harley (1661-1724), 1st earl of Oxford and Mortimer, politician, and Edward Harley (1689-1741), 2nd earl of Oxford and Mortimer, book collector and patron of the arts. Edward Harley bequeathed the library to his widow, Henrietta Cavendish, née Holles (1694-1755) during her lifetime and thereafter to their daughter, Margaret Cavendish Bentinck (1715-1785), duchess of Portland; the manuscripts were sold by the Countess and the Duchess in 1753 to the nation for £10,000 under the Act of Parliament that also established the British Museum; the Harley manuscripts form one of the foundation collections of the British Library.
