Letters to Marie Louise Pelline de Dalberg (1813–1860), from her second husband, Granville George Leveson-Gower, second Earl Granville (1815-1891), and from members of Lord Granville’s family. Dating from the time of their marriage and shortly before.
Marie Louise Pelline De Dalberg was known as Lady Acton after her marriage to Sir Ferdinand Dalberg-Acton in 1832, as Lady Leveson after her marriage to George Granville Leveson-Gower in 1840, and as Countess Granville from 1846.
