A Seriescontém documentos produzidos judicialmente, no Juízo de Órfãos e Ausentes, e extrajudicialmente, nos cartórios, em formato processo, manuscrito, entre os anos de 1846 a 1918. Os Inventários registram os bens deixados pelos inventariados, como sítios, fazendas, engenhos, joias, roupas, escravos, semoventes (gado vacum e cavalar), dinheiro, e revelam as dívidas ativas e passivas, assim como a Partilha dos bens entre os herdeiros.

The series contains documents judicially produced, at the Court of Orphans and of the Absents, and extrajudicially in the notary offices in the forms of process, manuscript , between 1846 and 1918. The inventories register the assets left by the inventory owners, such as ranches, farms, engenhos, jewelry, clothes, slaves, self-moving (vacum cattle and horses), money, and reveal active and passive debt, as well as the sharing of assets between heirs.

Physical characteristics: It has tears, acidity from ferrallic ink, sheets corroded by insects, damaged sheets -which making reading them difficult-, dirt and water stains, folding marks, perforations, darkened sheets due to dirt, faded ink, new folder.
