The original series contained twentieth-century letters from the ABCFM, business office letters, and letter fragments between missionary organizations and sent to and from Ceylon and South India.

Arrangement: From Professor Bernard Bate's finding aid: "The two volumes of letterbooks appear to fall under no previous categorical system, but the loose materials were found together in several bundles from Vaddukoddai." The files in this series are stored in polypropylene folders and stored in two boxes.
