These files were originally held on a floppy-disc in a folder with the material now forming sub-series Add MS 89363/4/19-21.

The text in these files is showing a degree of corruption, due either to the age of the original discs, or to their conversion (at the British Library) from an obsolete file format. More legible (though not identical) versions of the text are available as hard copies under shelfmark Add MS 89363/4/32-36 and Add MS 89363/4/37-43. The final published book (London: Little, Brown, 1998) is also available at shelfmark YC.1999.b.2928).
