Volume 2: Learned men educated at Cambridge.
In 1749 Dr. Conyers Middleton, the writer's stepfather, presented William Cole with Morris's rough drafts of the biographies, which Cole indexed, and included in his manuscripts presented to the British Museum, (now Add MS 5865-5868)
