Shahkar, a monthly Urdu journal begins in 1935 from Lahore and it become one of the most polular and respeted Urdu magazine. It is an extremely important literary Urdu magazine edited by prominent writers; perhaps the cheapest available magazine of its time. Shahkar includes numerious topic about the history of Urdu language, poetry, religion, criticism, Urdu fiction, drama etc. Shahkar also includes topic which are uncommon in Urdu language of that times. It has attractive out-look, illustrations and broad circulation. Dimentions : 24.5×17.5 cm.
