Contains documentation on: 1 and 2) Two copies of letters from Father Tirso Gonzales, general of the Society of Jesus, to María Jacinta, wife of Nicolás Ayllón, about the conversion of the Beaterio to a Monastery, as well as the steps to follow in the cause of Nicolas Ayllon. 3) Letter from Cardinal Aguirre to Diego de Villatoro, Marquis of Castrillo, offering to recommend the cause of Nicolás de Ayllón to the cardinals. 4) Request made by the mayordomos of the brotherhoods of the natives to the Archbishop of Lima, requesting that they be granted a license to beg for alms and thereby cover the expenses of the cause of Nicolás Ayllón; includes license. 5) Copy of the letter from the Archbishop of Lima to His Holiness Clemente XI regarding the receipt of witness statements in the case of Nicolás Ayllón. 6) Act of exhumation of the remains of Nicolás Ayllón and his transfer from the church of San Juan de Dios to the monastery of Jesús, María y José. 7) Document about the recollection founded by Nicolás Ayllón. 8) Letter from Cardinal Carpinensis to the Archbishop of Lima, urging the prompt establishment of the processes in genere and in specie, in the cause of Nicolás de Ayllón; 9) includes instructions according to the Sacred Congregation of Rites.
