- This publication replaced the annual Meteorology of India which was issued from the establishment of the Meteorological Department in 1875 until 1890. It consists of monthly weather reviews and an annual summary. Publication of the monthly weather reviews ceased in December 1920, but the India Office Records set only includes them up to July 1901. After that date the volumes only contain the annual summaries, which from 1928 were divided into a number of parts. From 1923 the monthly weather reviews were replaced by the Monthly Weather Reports.
