- Consists of correspondence and a copy of The Epic Poise: a celebration of Ted Hughes, some of which was completed after Hughes's death. The work was originally compiled to mark Hughes's 70th birthday, however Hughes died before reaching 70 in October 1998. Instead it was decided to publish the book as a tribute to Hughes's 'achievements and life' (letter from Nick Gammage to Carol Hughes, 27th November 1998).
