The sub-series consists of files of papers received or created by the Commonwealth Relations Office (CRO), relating to the Middle East (Official) Committee, which was composed of members from various British Government departments, including the CRO.
The files largely consist of various papers relating to the Middle East circulated to members of the Middle East (Official) Committee for information and consideration at future meetings.
