This sub-series originally comprised 37 volumes. The volume originally numbered L/AG/9/7/31 was removed from the sub-series in the 1970s and renumbered as L/AG/30/17/2. At a later date the subsequent volumes were renumbered to remove the gap giving 36 volumes in the sub-series.

Administrative Context:

These were commenced in 1860, probably as part of the new system of accounting introduced in that year. The system seems to have been in operation until about 1891.
