- Provided benefits for the widows and children of members of the East India Company/Indian Civil Service. Closed to new subscribers c.1882-1885. Up to June 1882, payments were made by the private agents to the Fund. To use volumes L/AG/21/31/35-37 it is necessary to refer to two sets of card indexes - these indexes are at present being transcribed for use in the OIOC Reading Room. Against a pensioner's name in the index will appear either G/2-3 (indicating an entry in L/AG/21/31/35) or G/1-3 (indicating entries in L/AG/21/31/36-37).
